How to get to Brest

By train, Brest is about 3,5 hours away from Paris (Montparnasse train station). For more information, see the SNCF railway company website. The city centre is at a walking distance from the train station.

By plane, many airlines (Hop!, Air France, Easyjet, Vueling, Volotea etc.) provide flights from Paris and several other European cities to Brest airport (BES). There are regular shuttles bus connecting the Airport with the tramway going to Brest city centre. It costs about 1.70 € per ride (including the tramway leg, the ticket is valid for 1 hour).

Accommodation during the event

There are many hotels in Brest. You can find a list of accommodation on the website of the tourist office. Classical booking websites can also be useful (Airbnb, Booking.com, etc.). We recommend that you stay in area close to a tram station to commute easily to the conference venue and the city centre (and close to a Boulangerie, because you cannot start a day without a French croissant). The most convenient areas in Brest include 'Saint Martin', 'Siam', 'Recouvrance', 'Les Capucins'.

We also recommend you to arrive in Brest on Wednesday, 14th  except if you want to spend more time in the region!
